Chinese hip-hop and funk label Groove Bunny Records holds a Singapore showcase

Founded in Jinhua in 2013, Groove Bunny Records is a discerning and diverse label putting out quality releases in hip-hop, funk, jazz and electronic music.

With respected underground artists such as MADPETE, V.N.P Crew, WOOTACC, KOSMA, DAMACHA and Dizkar under their roster, the burgeoning imprint is certainly one of the most forward-thinking and cutting-edge imprints in China at the moment.

And that charge is admirably led by highly-regarded vinyl selector and collector Endy Chen. The label head has been at the helm of some of Shanghai's coolest parties, most important stores, and has been featured on guest mixes for platforms like NTS Radio, NOISEY and RBMA Radio.

This coming Friday, 13 January, Endy Chen himself will be headlining a special Groove Bunny Records showcase at kult kafé. Not only will he be playing a special all-vinyl set, and he'll also selling some on the side! Keep in mind though, only cash transactions will be accepted so do visit an ATM before you hike up the hill.

Endy Chen will be supported by Sideshow's ShellsuitMatteblacc's Arms and Revision Music's own and RTJ (not Run The Jewels, actually a Singaporean selector with an enviable record collection of his own) who'll be making his debut.
