It was reported earlier today that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is in Washington DC to attend a grand dinner in honour of Singapore at The White House.

Held to strengthen ties between the two countries, the state dinner will feature a lavish menu — American wagyu beef, anyone? — and will be hosted by the President himself.

Don't miss Charlie Puth, the voice behind hit singles "See You Again" from Fast & Furious 7, "Marvin Gaye" feat. Meghan Trainor and more, live on this one night only concert!

"These state dinners are extremely rare," says Judith Fergin, executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore). "The fact that Singapore has been invited for such a visit and the state dinner is a tremendous compliment."

But while Lee Hsien Loong will be feasting alongside the Obamas in the White House, a different kind of party will take place after the dinner.

On Instagram, ShiGGa Shay posted a selfie onboard a plane on the way to DC, but it was only confirmed today via Grizzle Grind Crew that he will be performing at the dinner's after party alongside singer and radio personality Tabitha Nauser.

The party will be held at the swanky SAX, and VIP Bottle Service begins at US$250. We're just wondering if Obama's gonna be there.
