MINHO is back with a new solo release. On 7 September, the SHINee member released his second mini album, Make it hot, alongside a music video for its title track, 'Make it hot'.
Arriving nine months after his December single TEMPO, the six-track record sees MINHO moving across pop dance, R&B, and hip-hop sounds.
Its EDM-influenced title track pairs heavy bass and percussion with an energetic chorus, capturing the growing attraction between two people.
Make it hot also features 'Liquid', a dreamy pop dance collaboration with BELLE of KISS OF LIFE that plays on the contrast between the two singers' vocals.
Elsewhere, 'Ending Scene' explores the emotions of letting go at the end of a relationship, while 'Love Me Now' looks back warmly on a past love. 'Time 1.1' combines funky synths with a message about moving forward at your own pace, before R&B and hip-hop track 'Out Of My Hands' closes the record with a reminder to trust your decisions and move ahead without regret.
