Japanese metal band DEVILOOF have released their highly anticipated new digital single 'Inshu', alongside a fantastic music video!
The MV features acclaimed actor Tadanobu Asano, known for his role in the hit drama Shogun produced by Hiroyuki Sanada. Notably, Asano made history as the first Japanese actor to win the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Asano's involvement adds a captivating layer to this project, which connects his acting talent with his long-standing fandom of DEVILOOF. Asano has shared that he would often listen to DEVILOOF’s music on set during the filming of his projects and stated that their music helped him focus on character preparation and during shooting.
Vocalist Keisuke was captivated by Asano’s portrayal in Shogun, leading to this remarkable collaboration, which also marks DEVILOOF's 10th anniversary as a group. The band’s music style is a fusion genre combining elements of death metal and metalcore, characterized by its heavy use of breakdowns, aggressive vocals, and complex guitar riffs.
