Sigur Rós announce 2022 Asia tour — Singapore, Japan, Korea, and Thailand

Sigur Rós are heading back to Asia. 

In an announcement made on 26 April, the post-rock band shared that they will be heading to several cities across Asia as part of their 2022 World Tour. The 'Hoppípolla' act will be performing in Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan.

SINGAPORE 

Sigur Rós will be performing at The Star Theatre on 17 August 2022. Tickets for the concert will go for pre-sale on 27 April at 10 AM SGT and general sale on 29 April at 10 SGT via Sistic SG. Tickets are range from SGD 98 to SGD 188. 

This comes as Sigur Rós' latest concert in Singapore, following their Fort Canning shows in 2016 and 2013. 

SOUTH KOREA

Sigur Rós will be holding their Seoul concert on 19 August. Details on the venue and ticket sales will be announced soon, watch this space for updates.

JAPAN

Sigur Rós will be performing two concerts in Japan, at Zepp Osaka Bayside on 22 August and Tokyo Garden Theatre on 25 August. 

Tickets for the band's Osaka concert will go on pre-sale on 29 April and general sale on 21 May at 10 AM JST via Zepp Japan. While tickets for their Tokyo concert will go on pre-sale on 29 April and general sale on 21 May at 10 AM JST. 

THAILAND

Sigur Rós will be holding their Bangkok concert on 28 August at Moonstar Studio. Tickets are priced at THB 2,800 and are on sale here.

As part of their tour, the Icelandic band will also be heading to cities across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Europe. The trio is said to perform new material as well as hits from their 25-year-long discography.
