Singaporean DJ, producer, and erhu player LIKKI has reached a new career high, making her debut at Tomorrowland Belgium on 25 July.
The artist, whose real name is Likie Low, performed at the House of Fortune by JBL stage during the festival’s second weekend in Boom, Belgium. She joined an international lineup that included Mosimann, Carly Wilford, Rassix, Gaddi, TOO BIASED, and Triciaa.
LIKKI’s appearance followed her participation in the JBL Music Academy’s 2025 cohort. Eight artists from the programme were selected to perform at Tomorrowland, with JBL describing the Singapore-based musician’s work as a series of “cinematic, genre-bending journeys”.

Long before stepping behind the decks at one of electronic music’s most prominent festivals, LIKKI built her musical foundation through the erhu and Chinese orchestral music.
The former Singapore National Youth Chinese Orchestra member studied composition at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, where her projects brought electronic dance music together with brass, strings, vocals, and erhu. She has since developed a performance style that moves between future house, trance, and techno while keeping traditional Chinese instruments and orchestral arrangements at its centre.
Rather than using the erhu as a brief embellishment, LIKKI has made the instrument an essential part of her artistic identity. Her live productions have placed DJ sets alongside Chinese instruments, brass ensembles, and concert-hall arrangements—building a bridge between the musical traditions she grew up with and the dance music she discovered as a teenager.

Her Tomorrowland debut places her among a small number of Singaporean artists documented to have performed at the Belgian festival.
MYRNE became the first Singaporean act to take the Tomorrowland stage in 2018. DJ-producer Toska followed in 2024. LIKKI now joins them in bringing Singapore’s electronic music scene to the global festival.
Beyond being a personal milestone, the appearance offered LIKKI an international platform for an electronic sound shaped visibly by her Singaporean and Chinese musical roots. Her journey from youth orchestra rehearsals to Tomorrowland demonstrates that tradition does not have to be left outside the club—it can be part of what drives the dance floor forward.
