SM Universe, a subsidiary of South Korean agency SM Entertainment, will launch its first-ever K-pop training academy in Southeast Asia's this June.
The flagship facility will to open at *SCAPE and aims to offer aspiring idols the chance to receive world-class training via an intensive 21-week intensive programme focused on honing everything — from singing and dancing to production and stage presence. The lessons will be designed and taught by K-pop industry veterans.

The programme will cost approximately US$10,000 (S$13,500), according to a spokesperson. While there’s no stated age limit, the academy expects most students to be between 13 to 18 years old. There will be an online audition process for applicants, allowing the academy to assess skill levels before enrolment.
The programme will culminate with a week of training at Seoul's SM Universe campus where students will get the chance to audition with South Korean entertainment agencies.
