Snoh Aalegra will take the stage on the last day of the festival, 26 May, while Laufey is slated to perform on 25 May

The Iranian Swedish-born singer-songwriter is renowned for her sultry voice, sensual essence and soulful R&B tracks, including ‘DO4LOVE’, ‘Nothing Burns Like The Cold’ and ‘Find Someone Like You’. 

She rose to stardom after the release of her album -Ugh, Those Feels Again which earned the title of the ‘#1 R&B album in the world’ on iTunes

In 2021, Snoh Aalegra released her fourth album TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES, featuring the likes of Tyler the Creator and James Fauntleroy. Her latest singles, released in 2023, include ‘Sweet Tea’, ‘Be My Summer’ and ‘Wait A Little Longer’. 

Following the Java Jazz Festival, Snoh Aalegra is set to perform in Manila on 30 May 2024 before the commencement of her Australia tour. 

Java Jazz Festival 2024 is scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 May 2024 at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran in Indonesia. 

The festival will see a diverse range of performances including the acts of Jakarta’s very own singer-songwriter Bilal Indrajya, The Amy Winehouse band who were behind the late artist’s acclaimed albums, South Korean duo 92914, and more.

In line with its theme of “embracing unity through music”, the 19th edition of the festival promises to provide a platform “where music acts as a beautiful tapestry of diversity”.
