Zubiri's musical journey begins with her debut single, '(Life in Parenthesis)' - a smooth and sultry bossa-inspired track reminiscent of Sade. Originally written as a poem and birthday gift for her partner, Scott, the song explores fleeting moments of connection, vulnerability, and the bittersweet beauty of love suspended in time.
A collaboration with James Reid, Lvcas Floyd and Aman dela Cruz of La Crema, who helped compose the melody and infused the track with raunchy guitar and soulful percussions, along with the expert arrangement of Eric Trono - the song embodies an earthy and eclectic vibe. '(Life in Parenthesis)' invites listeners to slow down, savour the present, and embrace the sweetness of liminal space.

Among her many endeavours, Zubiri is probably best known as the creator of the Soulful Feasts platform, a brand born out of a desire to bring accessible and relatable wellness practices to a broader audience, through a podcast, workshops, talks, healing and meditation coaching, and more. Once she turned 40, this marked the beginning of her “why not era” - an unapologetic embrace of curiosity and creativity that has led her to explore new mediums of expression beyond the written word.
