SOURCE MUSIC is officially opening the door for a new generation of male K-pop stars.

The label behind LE SSERAFIM and formerly GFRIEND announced the launch of the SOURCE MUSIC 2026 GLOBAL BOY AUDITION, their first-ever worldwide search for male trainees.

Applications are open now via the label’s website and will close on 25 January.

The audition is open to boys born in 2008 or later, with no nationality or residency restrictions. Applicants can audition in one of four categories — vocal, rap, dance, or anything that best shows off their individuality and talent.

The announcement comes with a fresh visual identity — a newly revealed poster featuring a spacecraft motif, hinting at bold new horizons for the label. A promotional video has also been released via the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel and audition socials, with more content rolling out in the coming weeks.

Known for crafting next-gen icons like LE SSERAFIM, SOURCE MUSIC is now expanding its artist development slate to build its first male act — a move that marks a major shift for the label, and potentially for the next chapter of K-pop’s boy group scene.

Application details:

  • Period: 5 to 25 January

  • Eligibility: Male applicants born in 2008 or later

  • Open to all nationalities and locations
