South Korean indie favourites JANNABI are finally heading to Singapore for the very first time. Presented by FriedRice Entertainment, the duo’s JANNABI 1st Asia Tour : Sweat & Stardust in Singapore will take place on 13 August at Capitol Theatre, marking the Singapore stop of the band’s first-ever Asia tour.

Comprised of Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung, JANNABI have become one of Korea’s most beloved indie acts thanks to their nostalgic chamber pop sound and emotionally resonant songwriting. Since debuting in 2014, the band have steadily built a devoted following through releases that explore themes of youth, love, and growth.

The band are perhaps best known for their breakout hit ‘for lovers who hesitate’, which took home Song of the Year at the 17th Korean Music Awards in 2020. Their live performances have also earned acclaim for their immersive storytelling and distinct concepts, with their futuristic concert All the Boys and Girls 2125 winning the Grand Prize for Best Concert at the 12th EDAILY Culture Awards.

Fans attending the Singapore show can also look forward to exclusive fan benefits. VIP ticket holders will receive priority entry to the standing pen, priority merchandise access, a JANNABI guitar pick, and a chance to win a signed concert poster. All ticket holders will also receive a commemorative postcard.

Tickets go on sale from 2 PM (SGT) on 3 June via Ticketmaster Singapore.
