Southeast Asia’s first Squid Game: The Experience is set to open in Jakarta, bringing the world of Netflix’s hit Korean series to fans across the region. The immersive attraction will open at Agora Mall, Thamrin Nine on 16 October.
Spanning more than 1,900 square metres, the indoor experience will feature six themed rooms where visitors can take on interactive challenges inspired by Squid Game. Fans can also expect dedicated photo spots, cinematic lighting and sound, themed food and drinks, and exclusive merchandise.
Each session will run for approximately 75 minutes, with the attraction operating daily from 10 AM to 10 PM WIB. The games are designed for friendly competition among family and friends and are suitable for visitors aged 13 and above. Those under 13 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
“The wait is finally over. We are opening advanced ticket sales for people who have wanted to step into the world of Squid Game and face its iconic games for themselves,” shared Genta Gitary, Chief Operating Officer of PT Vista Adhya Paragon (SideQuest Worlds).
Jakarta marks the first Southeast Asian stop for Squid Game: The Experience, following editions in New York, Madrid, Seoul, London, Sydney, and Tokyo. The Jakarta edition is designed and produced by Kingsmen Xperience and delivered locally by SideQuest Worlds.
Tickets start at IDR 299,000, with prices varying according to the day and entry time. Fans can also opt for a VIP Experience add-on for IDR 149,000, which includes access to a themed VIP lounge, a complimentary series-inspired beverage, exclusive collectibles, and selected merchandise and F&B discounts.
