Spotify compiles "most-streamed" music from Singapore on their platform

The curation team behind streaming service Spotify have taken upon themselves to highlight the most popular music from Singapore on their platform.

Unsurprisingly, there's plenty of mandopop — with Tay Kewei's single '天天想你 (Miss You Everyday)' topping the list, it makes another great case for the genre's dominance in the Singaporean music industry — but electronic pop singer Jasmine Sokko stands strong at No. 3 with her sophomore single 'H2O', edging above Gentle Bones' brooding 'Shifting Over'.

'Turn', the excellent collaboration between Intriguant and Charlie Lim, sits comfortably below JJ Lin's '不为谁而作的歌 (Twilight)' and above The Sam Willows' 'All Time High'. Rounding up the first 10 on this list are two songs from pop singer-songwriter Maricelle ('Atlas Therapy', 'Up All Night') and indie rock band Bakers In Space ('Fools & Liars').

Scroll down and you'll find even more interesting additions, with songs like Charlie Lim's 'Knots', which came out in 2015, along with Jasmine Sokko's remix of 'Heartbeats' by TOMGIRL and '2014' by Plainsunset, off their final album Both Boxer & Benjamin.
