Yamaha Silent Violin - YSV-104

The YSV-104 is a first of its kind; with the absence of a solid body, the studio response technology (SRT) powered system devotedly reproduces the reverberation and tonal array of a classical acoustic violin. The carefully optimised volume, frequency response and delay by the SRT system allows the performer to hear the organic acoustics and resonance through the earphones. A control box, only suitable for this model, is available for players to adjust the ambience settings, “Room” or “Hall”, which is tailored for a practice session or performance respectively. The design allows for a smooth interchangeable mode between an acoustic and silent style, making it a versatile partner for all violinists.

Yamaha Electric Violin – YEV-104

The YEV-104 features the Mobiüs strip design which elevates the electric violin’s appeal. The inventive model of the violin accommodates the standard off-the-shelf shoulder/chin rests and tailpiece which allows for a smooth transition to an acoustic violin and back. The body is constructed with mahogany and spruce in 5-layers, which results in an organic overall sound. The frame is beautifully made with oil-finished-layered walnut which offers flexibility and strength, and contributes to the natural resonance. The high-output massive pickup, the same type used for the highly-regarded SV250, fully captures the instrument’s reciprocation of the distinct bowing nuances by the player. The violin also comes with selector switches, which allows the player to adjust the volume of the instrument or the direct output of the pickup signal.

Yamaha Venova

What’s a Venova, you ask? It’s Yamaha’s own new casual wind instrument. It's essentially Yamaha’s version of a saxophone, condensed into a light-weight, portable instrument that still maintains the rich, thick and expressive tone of a saxophone. With its almost recorder-like design, the Venova allows easy playability and fingering and is entirely waterproof. Even with its simple and sleek structure, the Venova spans a range of two octaves at an incredibly affordable price. Due to its compact size, the Venova can be taken virtually anywhere, allowing players to enjoy music easily in a variety of settings ranging from the outdoors to casual music sessions. Yamaha Electronic Drums DTX402 Series

Yamaha has revealed a brand new electronic drum kit, the DTX402 Series. The DTX402 combines years of experience creating authentic, top-quality drum sounds with 10 built-in drum kits, including acoustic effects and electronic sounds to help drummers find their voice. The DTX402 features 10 built-in training functions such as the Pad Gate Function, which trains you up gradually over time, the rhythm Gate Function, which fosters a precise sense of rhythm and the Fast Blast Function, which measures the speed of your strokes. There is also a scoring function so you can assess your skills objectively.

Yamaha Digital Piano P-515

Meet the Yamaha Digital Piano P-515. An all-new keyboard for players and performers, the P-515 includes a slew of new features, never previously explored by a portable Yamaha digital piano series. The keyboard comes armed with samples from two of the world’s finest grand pianos, the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial Concert Grand piano.
