Steam Sia: 10 Free Games You Can Play This Weekend

ESTIMATED

If you ain’t got funds or plans this weekend, it’s no worries. Video game client Steam is letting you play 10 games absolutely free for the weekend. Yep, just for this short period - you’ll need to pay for them after but with “tremendous savings”. According to creators of Steam, Valve says it’s the service’s biggest free weekend yet. Starting at Thursday, 10 a.m. Pacific (that’s 1 a.m. our time LATER). So dodge the heatwave and stay indoors!

Just what are they offering?

If you’re a prime button-masher, there’s Awesomenauts, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Blade Symphony to keep your fingers busy. While interactive 3D environments make games more multi-dimensional, sometimes we have a soft spot for side-scrollers and Trine 2 is certainly high on our “must-play” list.

BANDWAGON TV

Meanwhile, if you’re feeling a need to flex your brain muscles, Company of Heroes 2, Don’t Starve and XCOM: Enemy Unknown should do the trick. Grid 2 will certainly be a fun multiplayer racing experience but we must admit we can’t do without some multiplayer first-person shooters, in which case Killing Floor and Payday 2 would be perfect. Free doesn’t always mean low-quality and looking at the list of games, we’re already waiting with Steam neatly minimised on our desktops.
