Indonesian alt-pop outfit Elephant Kind are back and more confident than ever as they unveil their fearless album More Time.
More Time is beyond just another record. Its expansive 12 song tracklist takes listeners on a sonic voyage that explores various genres, melodies and features emotive storytelling and lush, seamless production. The album sparks the mind, it poses the question, "where does all this transformation and growth that the journey brings come into play?" The depth behind the album's overarching narrative comes from its direct question of the meaning of life, and how to navigate experiences to uncover the answer to that question.

Aligning itself with an extremely dense story and theme, the album comes from a very vulnerable and transformative time for the band, having been two years in the making. It draws from the surroundings and situations that the band found them in, infusing the chaos of Jakarta and the wistful calmness of London, it channels the energy of their lives from 2023 to 2025 when the album was being created. Produced by Bam Mastro with Iain Berryman, the album stems from the fascination behind human evolution, how fleeting moments and backhanded words have the ability to erode at our personalities, sculpting us constantly as our personalities change and grow.
Bam Mastro reflects on the release of the album as he shares, "We've released songs here and there over the past few years, but this time we're holding a complete record we truly believe in, finally on the horizon, ready to be received and heard by the world." The title track 'More Time' presents a dreamlike and almost hypnotic nature, hooks the listener with it's echoey atmospheric allure, being one of the most experimental tracks that the trio has ever released.
The fresh take that the song presents perfectly symbolises how More Time is a new chapter for the band. While infusing their signature alternative rock touch with the infectious high energy beats, Elephant Kind presents their sonic styles fully evolved, confident and authentic as ever.

To celebrate the release of the album, Elephant Kind have launched Party of a LIVETIME. The two-part album launch in Jakarta will begin with chapter one, held earlier this week, featuring an intimate listening party with a semi-live DJ set, giving fans an exclusive early listen. The second part, coming in May, will be a full live showcase, performing the new album in full along with standout tracks from their musical catalogue.
