Even with the psych-rock flourishes here, 'China Wine', at its core, is as silly as it can be, and its treatment by Singaporean indie rock band Stopgap is generous.

The five-piece band run through the Sun Ho classic (a trash classic, but a classic nonetheless) in a laid-back performance that betrays anything and everything that went down in the baffling original music video. You may never want to listen to 'China Wine' in your lifetime ever again, but if there's ever some space left for it, make room for this one.
