Stray Kids are back with their highly anticipated full-length album KARMA, and it's a cinematic, genre-hopping thrill ride packed with thunderous beats, sharp storytelling, and unapologetic attitude.
Led by the fiery title track ‘CEREMONY’, the 11-track album reaffirms Stray Kids' place as self-producing trailblazers. Helmed once again by in-house trio 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), KARMA confronts chaos, memory, and rebirth—delivering everything from gritty anthems to haunting ballads in under 35 minutes.
Opening with ‘BLEEP (삐처리)’, the album wastes no time plunging listeners into a distorted, defiant headspace. From there, it slams into the rallying cry of ‘Ceremony’, a track that blends explosive percussion with an air of triumph. A festival version and English version round out the album’s final moments, turning the lead single into a multifaceted anthem.
Other standout cuts include:
-
‘Phoenix’ – an anthemic resurrection track dripping in hope and cinematic flair.
-
‘MESS (엉망)’ – emotionally raw with pulsating basslines and dissonant textures.
-
‘In My Head’ – introspective and melancholic, this mid-album ballad hits like a late-night confession.
-
‘0801’ – a heartfelt tribute to their debut date (1 August), it’s tender, nostalgic, and fan-coded to the core.
While KARMA delivers the bold, high-energy stylings we expect from SKZ, it’s the album’s ability to switch gears—from adrenaline to introspection—that makes it one of their most cohesive and emotionally resonant works yet.
