The Succession premiere in New York ended ceremoniously as a pair of musicians performed the show's iconic theme song composed by Academy Award-nominated producer and pianist Nicholas Britell. With its distinctive piano chords, it's easy to see why the soundtrack for the opening credits of the series is a huge hit amongst fans.

Loosely based on the Murdoch family, the political TV series that is set in post-Trump America follows the bitter corporate battle that ensues within family firm/business empire Waystar Roco. With billionaire Logan Roy (played by Brian Cox) and Kendall Roy (played by Jeremy Strong) fighting to secure alliances, the tensions are definitely on the rise in the third instalment.

Unfortunately, the finale for the gripping family saga might be happening sooner than fans are expecting—executive producer Georgia Pritchett recently shared that there will potentially only be one or two more seasons after the third. It seems all good things must come to an end eventually.
But till then, keep your eyes peeled for the premiere of the newest season on HBO.
