Chinese-Thai pop singer-songwriter Sunnee has signed an exclusive global partnership with Sony Music Entertainment (SME) via RCA Records Greater China.

Splitting her time between Beijing and Bangkok, Yang Yunqing or Kewalin Boonsattha, who goes by her stage name Sunnee, is set to drop her first single under RCA Records this July. Titled 'Low Sugar,' the R&B track is co-written by the singer-songwriter and is said to "tell the story of an unravelling romance and features a catchy tune that displays her signature warm vocals."

Sunnee is also set to release a 5-track EP this November, marking her 10th anniversary since her official debut. The forthcoming EP, which she worked on with renowned executive producer, Peter Lee (Li Sisong), will feature the multilingual artist also singing in Thai.

“Working with Sunnee has been a revelation," Peter Lee said. "As an artist, she has brought a wealth of fresh ideas and raw expression to the table. It's truly inspiring and pushes me to explore the edges of my own creativity. Together, we're set to make a mark on the Chinese pop scene, and I'm thrilled to be collaborating with such a talent under RCA Records Greater China."

“We are very pleased that Sunnee has chosen to work with us. Sunnee has established herself as a rising star in the music scene with her distinctive singing style and a flair for bringing lyrics to life,” said Andrew Chan, CEO of Sony Music Entertainment Greater China. “We are dedicated to enhancing the unique strength of our artists and we are excited to see how Sunnee will continue to grow with us.”

“I’m so excited to announce that I’ve signed with RCA Records Greater China,” said Sunnee. “This feels like a perfect homecoming for my music, a blend of Thai and Chinese influences that I’ve always poured my heart into. Working with a label that understands and celebrates that cultural bridge is incredibly inspiring. I can’t wait to share my new music that truly reflects who I am as an artist – and that is something fresh and authentic.”

RCA Records Greater China was launched by Sony Music Entertainment in 2022, and is home to some of the biggest icons in the Chinese music industry, with names like Jasmine Yen and A-Lin.
