SUPER JUNIOR members Leeteuk and Heechul have officially confirmed the debut of their new sub-unit, SUPER JUNIOR-83z, bringing together the two same-aged stars born in 1983.
Alongside the announcement, the duo also unveiled dates for their upcoming 1983 FANCON TOUR, which will see them meet fans across Asia beginning this July.
The newly formed unit takes its name from the members’ birth year and marks a long-awaited collaboration between the veteran idols, who have been known for their contrasting personalities and undeniable chemistry throughout SUPER JUNIOR’s two-decade career. The pair first teased the unit earlier this year with a surprise performance of the unreleased track ‘ONSAEMIRO (온새미로)’ during SUPER JUNIOR’s 20th anniversary encore concert in Seoul.

The fan-con tour will kick off with a two-night show in Seoul before heading to Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Kaohsiung, Singapore, and Taipei.
