Swedish House Mafia reunite at Ultra Miami 2018

House music legends Swedish House Mafia are back.

Five years after retiring Swedish House Mafia at Ultra Miami, the trio of Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angelo made their grand return to the festival on Monday morning Singapore time. They played an unannounced headlining set in celebration of Ultra Music Festival's 20th anniversary.

There had been some indication of Swedish House Mafia's return as the logos on the group's social media accounts were updated over the past few weeks. The trio last performed in Singapore in early 2013.

Besides their hits like 'Don't You Worry Child', 'Greyhound', and 'Save The World', it was rumoured that the trio would play three new tracks during the set, according to a festival announcer. The set, which was live-streamed on Ultra Music Festival's YouTube page, is expected to be uploaded within the next few days.

As of right now, it is unsure if this reunion will only be for the 20th anniversary of the festival, or if the trio are back for good. When asked why they decided to return, Swedish House Mafia simply said, "It was time."
