&TEAM are back at it again as they unveil their energetic third EP We on Fire spanning six tracks of put unfiltered charisma and unadulterated confidence.
The EP captures the ultimate &TEAM trifecta of boldness, vocal precision and emotional depth as they drive home important messages with each song that covers a vast range of genres while capturing their signature energy and youthful flair. The title track 'We on Fire' sets the tone for the album, igniting it with the blaze of resilience and staying true to yourself in any event. The fiery track defies the confines of genre as it blends rock and hip-hop, creating an explosive mix of sheer awesomeness and grit.
The accompanying music video for the track is a power-packed cinematic experience that captures EJ, FUMA, K, NICHOLAS, YUMA, JO, HARUA, TAKI and MAKI as they assume the roles of post apocalyptic survivors who take down opponents who threaten to block the path before them, tackling each hurdle with ease whether it be a fire breathing dragon or a hoard of blood-thirsty zombies.
Following 'We on Fire' comes 'Bewitched' which exudes that spellbinding charm that &TEAM with a rich rock sound. The track builds under the surface before peaking into a crescendo of addictive melodies and thumping drum beats. The chorus captures the concept of being unable to resist the invisible but completely irresistible pull of love as it repeats, "Bewitched by you". Tied to HYBE’s DARK MOON narrative, the track balances tension and release to capture emotions teetering on the edge of control.
The searing rock melody of the second track fades into the feel-good trap based pop rock sound that shines bright on the third song 'HOTLINE'. Capturing the group’s seamless teamwork and growing trust, the song pairs an energetic, stadium-sized sound with layered vocals that reflect their strong bond, both as a team and with LUNÉ.
