Thai rapper MILLI just stepped into the ring — literally. On 17 May , the boundary-breaking artist made her Muay Thai debut at the iconic Fairtex Fight at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok. Facing off against Chinese fighter Jiduo Jishi, MILLI fought her heart out in all three rounds, showing off striking moves honed from a week of training at the Fairtex Training Center Pattaya.

Though she ultimately lost by points, her tenacity and agility left commentators and fans in awe, even earning her the nickname “8G Right Leg” for her powerful kicks.

“Wow… I don’t even know how to put it in words right now,” she said after the match. “I’ve fulfilled another one of my dreams, to fight a Muay Thai match in a real boxing ring.”

Known for fearless reinventions, MILLI made history in 2022 as the first Thai solo artist to perform on Coachella’s main stage. The YUPP! Entertainment star has since built a global reputation with viral hits like ‘Just Being Friendly’ with Tilly Birds and ‘Mirror Mirror’ with F.HERO and Stray Kids' Changbin, both racking up over 100 million YouTube views.

Beyond the ring, her journey to fight night is chronicled in the YouTube docuseries MILLI TO THE RING, a five-part series capturing her intense training and transformation.

Her accolades speak volumes — from BBC's 100 most influential women to Best Album of the Year and Best Solo Artist at the TOTY Music Awards 2022 for her debut BABB BUM BUM.

MILLI is set to return with her second album on June 26, 2025. But for now, she's soaking in the crowd’s cheers — and possibly plotting her next punch.

“Do I want to fight again? To be honest, yes I do… Please look forward to my next surprise, it won’t be long.”
