The 1975 cancel We The Fest 2023 performance and Taipei concert: "Due to current circumstances, it is impossible to proceed with the scheduled shows."

The 1975 have cancelled their remaining tour dates for Asia this July.

In an official statement shared by We The Fest and Live Nation Taiwan, the band reveals that they will no longer be headlining the Jakarta-based festival tonight (23/07), and cancelling their standalone concert in Taipei's Taipei Music Center (25/07).

"The band never take the decision to cancel a show lightly and had been eagerly looking forward to playing for fans in Jakarta and Taipei, but unfortunately, due to current circumstances, it is impossible to proceed with the scheduled shows," The 1975 shared via We The Fest and Live Nation Taiwan.

The news follows the sudden cancellation of Good Vibes Festival in Malaysia, after The 1975 frontman Matty Healy's "controversial conduct and remarks" on Day 1.

Ferg has been added to today's We The Fest lineup, with Ismaya Group's Christian Rijanto sharing they did the best they could with less than a day's notice and are lucky to have the American rapper on WTF 2023's roster.
