The Bloomfields are ready to serve up a mind-bending music video to accompany their vibrant single 'Pink Skies'.
'Pink Skies' is a dreamy track that sounds otherworldly. The song incorporates a multitude of different genres from Britpop to indie rock, almost making the track a sonic patchwork that builds the foundation for its addictive melody.
Staying true to the idea of piecing together different genres and melodies, the music video translates the genre-defying nature visually — using the concept of an animated collage to create a psychedelic kaleidoscope that features key moments from The Bloomfields’ moments on stage and even some pop art references.
Directed and edited by The Bloomfields' bassist Louie Poco, he expresses the passion behind his decision to spearhead the project as he says, "It was my first time experimenting with green screen and animated collage. No AI involved, just countless hours of hands-on editing and flexing creative muscles.”

He explains how the imperfections in the animations are what makes it trippy and beautiful, as it adds a personal and authentic touch that comes with creating art. Poco also mentioned that he drew inspiration from Filipino collage artists such as Andrea Cervantes and Charlie Salazar, to name a few.
This beautiful art piece created by the band that breathes new life into 'Pink Skies' shows that the quartet is well-versed in areas beyond art, making them forces to be reckoned with in the music world. The visually stunning music video will be out on 26 September at 10.30 PM SGT.
