Clara Benin – 'Blink’

 Invisible Woman (Sue Storm)

The Invisible Woman, Sue Storm, is the soft-spoken MVP—although she seems gentle on the outside, her fierce loyalty to her team makes her someone you wouldn't want to cross. She also takes on the role of an older sister to Johnny Storm, The Human Torch—having gained their powers together, she is as incredibly protective of him as she is of the rest of the team.

Blink’ perfectly captures Sue’s nature, with delicate, airy vocals reflecting her quiet outward demeanor, building to a light crescendo that nods to her more protective and assertive side. The lyrics express a brotherly sentiment with the line, “I try to be a friеnd to my brother, all I want is to see him better,” which perfectly sums up Sue’s dynamic with Johnny.

Rico Blanco – You’ll Be Safe Here’

 The Thing (Ben Grimm)

The Thing literally has a hard exterior with his flexible, rock-like hide. However, his heart of gold shines through as Ben Grimm when he needs to be there for his best friend, Mr. Fantastic, and the rest of the team, who have become more like family. He’s always got their back and never backs down from a fight.

You’ll Be Safe Here’ zeroes in on The Thing’s ability to always put his team first and his natural instinct to keep them safe. The song builds from a soft, rock-infused, groovy guitar melody, exploding into a heartfelt rock tone with heavy crashing drums, capturing the juxtaposition between his hard physical exterior and soft emotional interior.

Riding the wave of crashing cymbals and the emotional drumline, the lyrics say, “When nobody hears you scream, I’ll scream with you, You’ll be safe,” hitting the nail on the head with the description of his love for the team.

Grent Perez – ‘Ego’

Human Torch (Johnny Storm)

Flashy, fiery, and too cool for his own good, Human Torch has a cocky personality that portrays him as carefree. He’s got an air of suave about him that literally fuels his fire of youthful rebellion.

However, there is a side of him that shows his protectiveness for his sister, Sue Storm, and the rest of the team. His clever quips and comebacks reveal that he is much more than just a cheeky, blonde-haired charmer.

The song captures his charming, flirtatious aura through its smooth, jazzy tone while incorporating lyrics that highlight his character growth. This allows his witty and sassy personality to shine through, beyond just someone with a cheeky demeanor, with the line, “Okay, I’m done with your ego, grew up, became different people, this story don't need a sequel, no.”

Cup of Joe – ‘Hinga’

Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards)

Reed Richards is often regarded as the leader of The Fantastic Four, being Mr. Fantastic and all. He bears the stress of leading the team but has a passion for safeguarding his family. He is a caring leader who strives to stay calm in the face of adversity.

Upbeat and energetic, the song translates Mr. Fantastic’s need to quite literally stretch his mind and emotions to protect and motivate himself and the team. Lines about finding the silver lining and inner strength align with his calculated approach and mental discipline.

The lyrics say, “There are no stars when there is no darkness, no stars to be seen, when darkness is not accepted,” reinforcing his characteristic as a formidable leader, father, and friend to the other heroes that make up The Fantastic Four.
