The IDOL’S IDOL takes his place under the spotlight celebrating his awesome musical journey with a specially dedicated exhibit. The Grammy Museum honours TAEMIN by displaying two of his most iconic on stage outfits that have been ingrained in fans minds for the sheer iconic performances that they are associated with.
The outfits are also displayed alongside accompanying artifacts that play a significant role in the K-pop trailblazer's journey. Running from 1 April to 25 May, the exhibit brings fans up close to the artistry and fashion defining TAEMIN’s global influence.
The exhibit is set to feature his iconic red and black Ephemeral Gaze world tour 2024-2025 outfit comprised of an awesome AC/DC tshirt, with a studded and embellished red leather jacket overtop making that one of the highlight outfits on the tour as he exuded pure rockstar energy.

Juxtaposing the first outfit's edgy energy, the second outfit is an angelic and delicate white ensemble that the popstar donned during his performance on the Kelly Clarkson show in 2025. With such a varied mix of outfits and the occasions that they were worn, the exhibit truly pays homage to some of TAEMIN's most iconic moments. Personal items from TAEMIN such as his in ear monitors, white stage microphone, official lightstick, and a heartfelt handwritten note to fans will also be on display at the exhibit.

TAEMIN shares his excitement on being featured in such a prestigious place like the Grammy Museum as he shares, “I’m truly honored to have my stage outfits displayed at the Grammy Museum. Each performance is a story I share with my fans, and these outfits and artifacts hold memories of those moments on stage. I hope visitors can feel the passion and love for music that has guided my journey.”
Having formerly rose to fame as a member of the groundbreaking K-pop group SHINee, he established himself as a solo artist following his departure from the group. His signature balance of innovative choreography and genre defying musicality truly helped him shine as one of the greatest names in the industry, well deserving of a spot to glow in the Grammy Museum.

“TAEMIN is a truly influential artist whose impact extends far beyond the stage,” shares Grammy Museum curator, Kelsey Goelz. “His distinctive performances, innovative style and artistic vision have helped shape the global rise of K-pop. We’re honored to showcase these iconic stage outfits and artifacts that celebrate his artistry and cultural impact.”
This exhibit not only celebrates TAEMIN’s journey as a pioneering idol but also invites fans to reflect on how far he has come since his debut in 2008. As he continues to break new ground, most notably with his upcoming performance at Coachella 2026, TAEMIN adds yet another milestone to an already remarkable legacy, proving that his influence and artistry continue to evolve on the global stage.
