While their return to the region is an effort to give the Taiwanese locals an unforgettable night of experiencing and discovering music from the Philippines live on a stage near them, it is also a way for the band to meet the minority of Filipinos who reside in Taiwan, finding a piece of home in The Itchyworms' discography.
“We constantly try to get to know the Filipinos in Taiwan,” Jugueta shares. “Filipinos are really so friendly, so we will just talk about life in Taiwan and the struggles of not seeing your family very often. We will bring them back to the Philippines through our music!” With their shows in Taiwan, The Itchyworms bring together nostalgia, joy, and Pinoy pop culture in one shared space.

Each show will have a different buzz of energy due to the simple reason that each night draws a new crowd. Everyone enjoys music differently and The Itchyworms embrace that diversity, making each show a unique experience. “It feels great that not only are we sharing The Itchyworms’ music, but we are also sharing OPM and Filipino music with the world,” Jugueta shares.
With their return to Taiwan, The Itchyworms continue to prove that music knows no borders, bringing people together through shared emotion, nostalgia, and joy. More than just a concert, Akin Ka Na Lang TAIWAN Part 2 becomes a celebration of identity, connection, and home, whether for longtime fans or first-time listeners, leaving audiences with memories that linger long after the final note.
