The Itchyworms are making their long-awaited return to the Middle East as part of their Akin Ka Na Lang tour early next year. The Filipino pop-rock legends are set to take the stage at Pakistan Auditorium in Dubai on 17 January (tickets here), followed by New Bar, Arkadia in Abu Dhabi on 18 January (tickets here), marking their first UAE performances in over a decade.
The two-date tour isn't just about the music — it's a homecoming of sorts. "Our first-ever out of the country tour was in Dubai and Abu Dhabi way back in 2007," the band shared. "We’ve been back a few times since, but our last UAE show was in 2014. We are so excited to fly back and perform for our kababayan out there!”

“Sometimes, we end up playing for two and a half or even three hours. We always make it a point to bring back our kababayan to the Philippines, even for just a short time,” the band revealed, hinting at an immersive live experience.
This return also reflects how much the band has grown, both as musicians and as individuals. “When we first went there, we were still very young and in our 20s. Now, we are more mature musically, as individuals, and as a band. This return feels very special,” they added.
