Here's your chance to open for The Piano Guys in Singapore!

On 16 February, LAMC Productions and Yamaha announced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Yamaha musicians to be the opening act for the Utah-based piano and cello duo's highly-anticipated upcoming concert.

Interested applicants may first film themselves performing a piano/violin/cello cover of a song from the USA Singles Top 40 chart, making sure that your face and instruments are visible. Next, post your video on both Facebook and Instagram with the following caption:

  • Name: [Input Registered Yamaha Name]
  • Role: [Input Either Student or Teacher]
  • Song: [Input Selected Top 40 Song]
  • Branch: [Input Branch That You are Currently Studying or Teaching In]
  • Use the hashtags #YamahaSpotATalent and #ThePianoGuys.

Videos should be no longer than five minutes and entries have to be made available for public viewing.

The contest closes on 28 February, at 11:59 PM and winners will be announced subsequently on 6 March. The first-place winner will be chosen as the opening act for The Piano Guys while top three entries will win tickets to the show.

This contest is exclusively open to Yamaha Music School, Singapore Students, and Teachers only. For more information, visit the Yamaha website here.

The Piano Guys are slated to bring their repertoire of popular hits to THE PIANO GUYS LIVE IN SINGAPORE on 14 March, at 8 PM, at The Star Theatre. Tickets are priced from SGD 88 to SGD 188 and are available now via Sistic
