The8 will not be attending SEVENTEEN's Be The Sun concert in Jakarta.
In an announcement made on 27 December, PLEDIS Entertainment shared that the SEVENTEEN member is currently experiencing flu symptoms and receiving treatment as per the medical staff's advice.
"Although the artist himself expressed his strong wish to participate in the event, placing the medical staff’s advice and our artist’s health as a top priority, it has been decided that he will not be attending the Jakarta concert," PLEDIS Entertainment wrote in their statement.

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
We would like to inform you that SEVENTEEN Member THE 8 will not be able to participate in the SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN] - JAKARTA Concert.
THE 8 visited the hospital as he was experiencing flu symptoms, received treatment and is currently resting as per to the medical staff’s advice.
Although the artist himself expressed his strong wish to participate in the event, placing the medical staff’s advice and our artist’s health as a top priority, it has been decided that he will not be attending the Jakarta concert on Wednesday, the 28th (Indonesia Time).
We ask our fans who have awaited this concert for your kind consideration.
We will do our best to aid in THE 8’s treatment and recovery so that he can return in full health to his fans as quickly as possible.

The8 was set to perform alongside the rest of SEVENTEEN in Jakarta on 28 December as part of their Be The Sun World Tour. As a whole, the 'HOT' recently returned to the Philippines to perform their historic concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

SEVENTEEN initially performed in Jakarta last September. The Be The Sun tour kicked off in June and has seen concerts across North America, Europe, and Asia.
