Thee Marloes and Badkiss are heading to Singapore for the first showcase by Flavours, a new live music series from the collective behind Ice Cream Sundays and Sunda Festival.

Taking place at RASA on 11 December, the event will unfold across two sessions, moving from live soul to a late-night dancefloor. Indonesia’s Thee Marloes will lead the Band Session from 7:30PM to 10PM, supported by Singapore’s Clementi Soul Unit. Manila-based selector Badkiss and homegrown DJ Xinyi will then take over from 10PM to 3AM.

Flavours is the latest project from Cream Team, the Singapore-based collective expanding its programming to include bands, live ensembles, electronic musicians, and other forms of independent music.

“Flavours is an idea we’ve been tossing around since 2017, so it’s been a long time coming to say the least,” says Cream Team co-founder Daniel O’Connor. “We’re incredibly excited to be kicking off the series with this lineup – a pair of headliners we truly admire alongside two of Singapore’s most exciting homegrown acts.”

Hailing from Surabaya, Thee Marloes blend soul, jazz, and pop with a distinctly Indonesian perspective. The trio comprises Natassya Sianturi on vocals and keys, Sinatrya Dharaka on guitar, and Tommy Satwick on drums, with songs exploring love, longing, and joy.

Their debut album, Perak, arrived through Big Crown Records in August 2024, drawing on the intimacy and atmosphere of classic soul. The release led to a multi-city Japan tour and performances across the United States, including a session at KEXP in Seattle. Their 2026 follow-up, Di Hotel Malibu, continues to develop that sound with a more conversational, deeply Indonesian approach.

Opening the evening, Clementi Soul Unit are a nine-piece Singaporean soul band born from Kenzo Nagari’s connection with jazz vocal trio the Sugar Bees. Their live setup brings together a rhythm section, horns, and the trio’s vocals.

For the DJ Session, Badkiss draws on more than two decades behind the decks. Her sets move through house, broken beat, breaks, and Latin rhythms, with a career that has seen her share booths with Chromeo, Crazy P, DJ Spinna, and Jazzanova.

Joining her is Xinyi, a longtime member of Singapore’s house dance community whose selections explore soulful house in its many forms, connecting her experience as a dancer with her approach to the club.

Early bird tickets for both sessions are available through Tessera. Follow Flavours for further updates.
