Timbre Group is turning 20 — and they’re throwing a massive celebration that honours everything fans love about the brand: live music, local food, and a whole lot of heart.
Since its humble start in 2005 as a live music bar at The Substation, Timbre has grown into a beloved cultural icon in Singapore. Now, two decades on, the group is marking this milestone with a packed lineup of performances, new venues, social initiatives, and F&B promos — all kicking off 31 July at Timbre+ One North.
Star-studded throwback sets & new venues
The anniversary party kicks off with a nostalgic reunion show by Jack & Rai ft. EIC, plus crowd favourites like Bushmen, Peep Show, The Day Trippers, and Awi Rafael. Expect special sets, improved ventilation at the venue, and throwback vibes for the fans who’ve been there since day one.

Timbre is also launching two new spaces:
-
Timbre+ Hillview – A sprawling 750-seater food collective with 27 stalls, now open at the historic CMPB site. Live music starts 4 August, featuring acts like Luke & Shan, The Music Affair, and Uber Duber.
-
Timbre Signatures Café @ Siglap – Opening softly in early August, this community-focused café is a collaboration with New Hope Community Services, serving a menu curated by Singapore culinary Olympian Triston Fang.

Deals, tributes & community impact
In true birthday fashion, Timbre is rolling out irresistible promos across its venues — from 60-cent kopi at Yishun Park Hawker Centre to $6 craft beer pints at Hillview.
But it’s not just about the party. The anniversary is also a tribute to the community that kept Timbre going — especially through COVID-19. “This isn’t just a celebration of the past,” says co-founder and CEO Danny Loong. “It’s a tribute to resilience, reinvention, and everyone who believed in Timbre.”
One highlight is the Gift A Guitar campaign, a pay-it-forward initiative that raised national attention after PM Lawrence Wong auctioned his own guitar to support music education for underserved youth.

More than music
Beyond the music, Timbre continues to drive social change. From youth mentorship to inclusive hiring and platforms like Respect SG, the group’s community-first mission remains at the core.
As they look ahead, Timbre is doubling down on its belief that music is food for the soul — and they’re serving it up with a side of social impact, good vibes, and plenty of makan.
