timelesz are taking their latest chapter worldwide. The eight-member J-pop group released their second studio album, MOMENTUM, on global streaming platforms on 31 August. The 17-track record is now available via Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and more.
Built around a classic J-pop core while exploring different genres, MOMENTUM marks timelesz's second album with their current eight-member lineup. The record draws from the group's experiences over the past year, reflecting their drive to keep moving forward while holding on to moments from the past, present, and future.
Leading the album is 'GOOD TOGETHER', which arrived with an accompanying music video.
MOMENTUM also features 'Believers', the theme song for member Yoshitaka Hara's starring drama Yokohama Neighbors Season 2, alongside the group's first unit tracks. The units were formed based on overseas and creative assignments featured in timelesz project -REAL-, the follow-up docuseries to timelesz project -AUDITION-.
The unit tracks include 'No Map Just Vibes' by So Matsushima, Masaki Hashimoto, and Shuto Inomata; 'We’re on the Top' by Shori Sato, Yoshitaka Hara, and Taiki Shinozuka; and 'half & half' by Fuma Kikuchi and Takuto Teranishi.
The album closes with bonus track 'Akubi', which has also received its own music video.
The release follows timelesz's latest single, 'Kienai Hanabi (Timeless Fireworks)', the theme song for the animated film Kimi to Hanabi to Yakusoku to. The project marks Shori Sato's first starring voice acting role.
