There are many things threatening the planet today, but Tiny Moving Parts' recent Manila show proves that we should still take a moment to keep calm and breathe.
On Sunday (02/09), the American math-rock/emo trio took on the SM Skydome in SM North EDSA, Quezon City once more to throw one hell of a party their Filipino audiences were in dire need of (since January felt like it lasted for more than four years). It was the perfect release, despite PULP Live World requiring concert-goers to have their temperatures checked upon entry, fill up a form on their whereabouts over the past 14 days, and wear face masks for everyone's safety. These may have been minor inconveniences, but it all led to a night of fun with the 'Always Focused' act.
Tiny Moving Parts hit the stage with a setlist packed with new jams from their latest studio record breathe. The crowd immediately shifted into the sea with hands and fingers for waves as they tossed bodies about in careless bliss. From their opener "The Midwest Sky" down to their encore "Caution," Tiny Moving Parts kept the venue moving through their hour-long set.
