Netflix has announced a Japanese remake of the Korean film Architecture 101.

The upcoming romance drama, titled A Blueprint for Love (Koi ni Ochita Ie), will star singer and actor Tomohisa Yamashita as Ibuki, alongside a cast and crew from Japan and South Korea. It is set to premiere on Netflix in 2022.

A Blueprint for Love follows the story of Ibuki, a young man who meets a woman named Yuna while in university. Their common interest in architecture blossoms into a romance, but things don't end up working for them. 19 years later, a divorced Yuna reconnects with Ibuki and asks her to build her a house.

The film marks Yamashita's return to romance movies after six years. He previously starred in the Japanese television drama series Code Blue. He will also be appearing in the Kevin Hart-led action-comedy film The Man from Toronto next year.

The original Architecture 101 film starred Uhm Tae-Woong, Han Ga-In, Lee Je-Hoon, and Bae Suzy.
