TOMORROW X TOGETHER is back once again as they continue to reinforce their identity as advocates for youth mental health as they unveil the TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW campaign, created in partnership with UNICEF.
As the Gen Z icons continue to champion the wellness and well being of youth through their uplifting music, capturing the essence of their work with UNICEF, they unveil the official campaign film for the project TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW. The collaboration first came about last October as an agreement between UNICEF and BIGHIT MUSIC aimed at encouraging open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma and creating safe spaces for youth to confront their emotions empowering them to embrace resilience even in the face of adversity. The freshly launched campaign film stands as a pillar of significance as it flawlessly captures those sentiments through the heartwarming visuals and voiceover monologue.
The quintet asks the audience 'How are you feeling today?' guiding them to reflect on their experiences, telling them it's ok to feel emotion and even encouraging them to ask others how they felt today. Through the video they emphasise the importance of empathy, how vital it is to let youths know that "Instead of trying to change you, we'll stay by your side". The idols also go on to say that, "Saying you need help isn't being weak", taking on the roles of good listeners and supporters hearing out and understanding the issues of the youth without judgement.
The campaign film gives fans a glimpse into what UNICEF strives to achieve as they put TOMORROW X TOGETHER in the forefront of the TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW campaign. As part of the project, audiences are also encouraged to participate in the Gathering Our Hearts Together survey.
By answering three simple questions to unlock a special heartening message from SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI, they encourage participants to acknowledge their feelings. By capturing the messages from the members and uploading them to Instagram with "#TXT_UNICEF", participants get a chance to enter a raffle in hopes of winning, Tomorrow X Together Unreleased Behind-the-Scenes Cuts (Digital Content).
TOMORROW X TOGETHER continues to reach beyond as they grow toward becoming worthy supporters of youth mental health. In June, they expand their reach globally with the Hearts Together with TXT: The Listening Room Hearts Together Playlist where they will read heartfelt messages and stories submitted by fans, continuing to be beacons of hope for them as they navigate the uncertainty they may be facing.
Regarding their participation in the campaign, band leader SOOBIN emphasized, "I believe we can build a brighter future together through this campaign." YEONJUN and HUENINGKAI pointed out that it’s okay to feel exhausted even during their most joyful moments, stating "We hope all young people can take the time to reflect on how they’re feeling and remember that it’s always okay to ask for help whenever they need it." BEOMGYU and TAEHYUN also emphasized the courage it takes to speak openly about one's true emotions, stating that "We hope this campaign paves the way for a meaningful change."
As the warm light that TOMORROW X TOGETHER has forged encapsulates each youth and fan who has decided to embrace support and open up about their mental health, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and UNICEF continue to chart the path to achieve their mission of encouraging open conversation and empathy about topics surrounding mental wellness.
