Fred Perry Sub-Sonic Live 2013

November 1

Fred Perry Singapore's music extravaganza Sub-Sonic Live returns in November with one of the most sonically complex lineup yet, featuring the likes of post-progressive exponents ANECHOIS and prog/experimental innovators sub:shaman & Horns taking the electric stage, while the moody pianos of These Brittle Bones and the folksy guitars of Hilary Yang take the acoustic dais. DJ collective #Vinyloftheday will also be making an appearance in the electronic side of things, with Malaysian dance-rock wizards Enterprise gracing the show, along with Ra Ra Riot - who'll be performing the very next day in Camp Symmetry - as headliners. Truly not a show to be missed, especially when it's all happening underneath the Thomson Flyover at the Offside Futsal Park!

The good folks of Super 0 are back with their pop-up warehouse electronic music festival, complete with live VJ-ing, workshops, record store and the hotly anticipated Social Dining Club - tasting sessions with guest chefs from respected kitchens reinterpreting satay dishes. Featuring over 20 DJs on decks this season - including fellows from Darker Than Wax, #vinyloftheday, Midnight Shift and many more internationally - the party kicks off November 9th at The Mill off Jalan Kilang. One OK Rock Live In Singapore

November 22

At first we passed off One OK Rock as another stock j-rock fare, but after a bit of research and hours spent on YouTube watching their music videos, we'd say these guys are pretty legit. They bring to mind the emo/post-hardcore bands of our teenage years, sounding a lot like My Chemical Romance, The Used, Story Of The Year and Lostprophets, with a Japanese touch. With sold out shows in Paris, London and Bonn, catch them live at The Coliseum to see why they're indeed OK ROCK (LOL).

Lomography Blue Hour Sessions

November 23 - May 3

The Blue Hour Sessions will be a 6-part series where a roster of local bands collaborate with graphic artists to bring on a sonic and sensory experience. It will also resurrect the DIY attitude of gigs by producing zines, special edition EP sleeves with artwork and photography across all the covers. Happening every last Saturday of the month, the Lomography Blue Hour Sessions will kick off on November 23.
