2022's Top Videos on Bandwagon — Travis Japan, SB19, ITZY, Jackson Wang, and more

Last year, we've connected with artists from all over the globe and across a wide range of genres. We've always found new ways to share their stories and get them closer to their fans. In 2022, we've managed to sit down and catch up with some of your acts, as they stop in our little corner of the world for their tour, festival performances, and more.

But beyond that, we've also uncovered the many stories that go beyond the artists that fill your playlists and that dazzle on stage. Our team have dived deep into the scene to dig out the experiences that make music so special, while also having fun and playing some games.

2022's Top Stories on Bandwagon — NewJeans, BE:FIRST, BTS, 4*Town, and more

So, as the next part of our Best of 2022 series, here are the top videos on Bandwagon last year.

TRAVIS JAPAN

BANDWAGON TV

During their appearance at YouTube FanFest in Singapore last November, we caught up with cheery members of Travis Japan to talk about their joyful brand of music, their pre-show routines, and their stint at America's Got Talent

SB19

SB19 have taken the world by storm in 2022 with their first-ever headlining world tour. Before they hit the stage at the Singapore stop of their Where You At? tour, we caught up with the P-pop icons to talk about their love of performing, being authentic in their music, and their big plans for the new year.

ITZY

ITZY have had quite the year with it ending with their first-ever world tour. But before all that happened, we caught up with the 'SNEAKERS' hitmakers to talk about their first-ever album, CHECKMATE. In our interview, they danced, shared stories, and expressed their appreciation to their beloved MIDZYs.

PENTAGON

It's been a long journey for PENTAGON but even with six years under their belt, they have nothing but love for everything that's happened. Fresh from the release of their album, IN:VITE U, we caught up with the group to talk about growing old together and the adventures that lie ahead of them.

JACKSON WANG

This year, Jackson Wang let us in to get to know who he really is behind his many titles—starting with his self-titled single in January. We caught up with the multihyphenate to talk about his story so far, from moving away from home, spending so much of his life pursuing music, and what lies ahead.

ERIC CHOU

Ahead of his long-awaited return to Singapore for his ‘Odyssey 旅程’ concert, we sat with Eric Chou to talk about the story of his single ‘Graduation (最後一堂課)’ came together, his go-to karaoke songs, and what it's like being a bilingual artist.

LAURIE

When she greeted Singapore at TEAM WANG's party at MARQUEELaurie took everyone by surprise. She was bold and confident—much like her music. So, we caught up with the new TEAM WANG artist to talk about journey in music, joining the Jackson Wang–founded label, and what's next, all while playing a round of 'Kopi King'.

RAISED BY PUNKS

Beyond sharing the stories behind your favourite artist's music, we also uncover the stories of those inspired by music. In our Father's Day special, we talk to Generation 69's Amin and his daughter, Estee who have always shared a special bond through punk music. Estee grew up watching her dad rocking it out with his band and bringing a community together at the legendary underground venue, Decline. They share with us their unique experiences and what it's really like being raised by punks.

DESERT ISLAND TUNES

If you're stuck on a deserted island with no access to your unlimited library of music, what songs you would have to bring with you? In our new series, Desert Island Tunes, we ask that difficult question to some of your favourite local musicians. Hosted by our very own Nicholas Wong, who's also a staple in Singapore's local music scene, the series has featured guests like Rasyid Juraimi of Wormrot and Darell Laser of Forests and Quite Quiet.
