TOTO are returning to the Philippines for two shows celebrating five decades of music.
The rock band will perform at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on 29 March 2027, followed by SM Seaside Cebu Arena on 30 March 2027. Promoted by Ovation Productions, with Blast TV as the official media partner, the concerts form part of their 50th anniversary tour.
Known for classics including ‘Africa’, ‘Hold The Line’, and ‘I’ll Be Over You’, TOTO will return with a lineup led by guitarist and vocalist Steve Lukather and vocalist Joseph Williams. They will be joined by Warren Ham on horns, percussion, and vocals; John Pierce on bass; Keith Carlock on drums; and Dennis Atlas and Rai Thistlethwayte on keyboards and vocals.
“From the earliest stages of our career, the Philippines has supported Toto. There is a mutual affection between us and the entire country,” Lukather shared. “I can’t wait to bring them great shows featuring Joe, myself and a band comprised of world-class musicians. It’s going to be a great time for everyone in the venue come 2027.”
The anniversary traces back to 7 January 1977, when the band’s founding lineup gathered at Davlen Studios in North Hollywood to record demos that would become their debut album. Co-founders David Paich and Jeff Porcaro, alongside Lukather, Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro, and David Hungate, began a musical partnership whose songs continue to reach new generations.
Inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2009, TOTO have since surpassed nine billion streams across digital platforms. ‘Africa’ has reached two billion plays on Spotify alone, while ‘Hold The Line’ has exceeded one billion. Across 2025 and 2026, the band performed for more than 850,000 ticket holders worldwide.
