Tokyo’s seven-member pop powerhouse Travis Japan blast off into a new era with their bold and nostalgic new album ’s travelers, out now via Universal Music Japan / Capitol Records.
Inspired by the sounds of the ’70s to ’90s, ’s travelers is a time-traveling musical odyssey led by a strawberry-shaped spaceship — a playful tribute to member Shime’s favourite fruit. The album spans genres and decades with style: from the shimmering disco of ‘Disco Baby’ and smooth R&B vibes of ‘Say I do’ to the brash hip-hop of ‘Diamonds’ and the neon-lit city pop in ‘Tokyo Crazy Nights’. Each track reimagines iconic sounds of the past through Travis Japan’s energetic, performance-driven lens.
Produced by member Machu (Kaito Matsukura), the project showcases the group’s creative flair and passion for storytelling — all wrapped in slick production and their trademark choreography.
To celebrate, Travis Japan dropped the music video for ‘Welcome To Our Show Tonight’, a glamorous throwback to the golden age of Hollywood. Dressed in classic suits and backed by jazz rhythms and big band brass, the group delivers a dazzling revue filled with sharp choreography, vintage charm, and theatre-kid charisma. It’s a cinematic standout that perfectly captures their showman spirit.
Adding more to the excitement, Travis Japan also announced a new Disney+ docuseries titled Travis Japan: Summer Vacation!! In The USA, premiering in 2026. Filmed right after their US tour, the series follows the group through scenic American locales like Arches National Park, Monument Valley, and Sedona — capturing both breathtaking views and candid moments of friendship.
The momentum won’t stop there. The group is set to embark on a Japan arena tour in 2026, with stops in Kanagawa, Fukui, Hokkaido, Aichi, Osaka, Shizuoka, Fukuoka, and Chiba — promising fans the full Travis Japan live experience: high-voltage, tightly choreographed, and packed with heart.
