JIHYO of TWICE has joined forces with Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea for their highly anticipated new collaboration, 'Distant Lover', out now alongside its official music video. The release marks the latest offering from FANDOM, the fan-owned music project developed by Musicow in partnership with Roc Nation Distribution.
Blending K-pop, dancehall, and Afrobeats influences, 'Distant Lover' explores the ups and downs of modern-day situationships, turning mixed signals and dating frustrations into an empowering anthem about knowing your worth. The track pairs JIHYO's soulful vocals with Shenseea's signature flow, bringing together two distinct musical styles in a cross-cultural collaboration.
Released alongside the single, the official music video amplifies the song's vibrant energy with striking visuals and choreography, showcasing the chemistry between both artists.
'Distant Lover' follows previous FANDOM collaborations including Jon Bellion and Swae Lee's 'Two Car Garage', as well as Ahn Hyo Seop and Khalid's 'Something Special', continuing the project's mission of connecting artists and fan communities across genres and borders. Limited-edition FANDOM box sets featuring exclusive photocards and posters are also set to arrive soon.
