Five Filipino acts have been chosen to proceed to the grand finals of Vans Musicians Wanted.
The elimination round took place at Johnny Be Good in Glorietta, Makati City last week, giving up-and-coming local acts from the independent music scene a shot to prove themselves as the Top 5 of the region-wide competition. The grand finals are set to take place on August 23 (Thursday), where the winners will battle it out for their golden ticket to Guangzhou, China to compete at the House of VANS on September 22 (Saturday).
In no particular order, here are the top 5 acts making it to the grand finals of Vans Musicians Wanted this August.

Vans Musicians Wanted is Vans' effort to give up-and-coming local acts a shot to perform at the House of Vans stage in Guangzhou, win limited presses of their own vinyl, and be featured on Vans' Music Playlist.
