vaultboy and eaJ have released their first collaborative single.

Titled 'everything, everywhere', the track, which was unveiled on 3 November, is sung from the perspective of a person struggling to move on in the aftermath of a break-up.

Having explored the theme of heartbreak just a couple of months ago in his track 'everything hits me at once', vaultboy enlists the help of eaJ this time to further examine the emotions that come with losing someone you loved deeply.

"This song is about the way someone can haunt you after a break-up. The way that you see them in little things around your house, in the shows you watched together, or in the face of a stranger," explained the Jacksonville-born singer-songwriter and the Korean-American artist.

They continued: "At some point, it begins to feel impossible to think about anything else, and all we want is to forget. However, as the saying goes, “It's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.” We hope this song can help people navigate through these types of emotions and, maybe, help people move on."

On the same day, a music video starring vaultboy and eaJ premiered on the former's official Youtube channel.

A fast-rising act in the global pop scene, vaultboy is the mind behind the viral hit 'everything sucks' and has launched memorable tunes such as 'rocket science' and 'aftermath' since debuting in 2021.

Formerly a member of South Korean band Day6, eaJ has made a name for himself as a solo artist with releases such as 'car crash' and 'typical story'. He is scheduled to make an appearance at Indonesia's Joyland Festival Jakarta 2023 later this month.
