Clockenflap 2025 is shaping up to be one for the books. Set to return to Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront from 5 to 7 December, the city’s iconic outdoor music and arts festival is bringing together over 30 acts from around the world for an unforgettable three-day celebration of sound, art, and community.

Leading this year’s charge is Japanese chart-topper Vaundy, who will be making his first-ever public performance outside Japan on opening night. This will be his only show in Asia outside Japan this year, making it a must-see for regional J-pop fans.

Joining him on Friday, Sparks will bring their legendary art-pop flair to Hong Kong for the first time, while indie-folk crooner Passenger, genre-bending prodigy Jacob Collier, German electro duo Digitalism (DJ set), and Hong Kong singer Panther Chan round out the night’s diverse offerings. Fans can also look forward to Hong Kong shoegaze tribute set Chung’s Astrology, celebrating late indie hero Kwan King Chung, and DJ duo Azabu Punks.

Saturday takes a global turn with Indonesian rap icon Rich Brian, trip-hop pioneer Beth Gibbons (of Portishead), French nu-disco stars L’Impératrice, Thai indie heartthrob Phum Viphurit, and Japanese trio Chilli Beans. Other standout performances include techno innovator Dave Clarke, Taiwanese funk outfit Robot Swing, Belgian electronic experimenter Bolis Pupul, and intriguing Japanese duo Rikon.

Sunday closes the weekend in epic fashion with a headline set by Scottish indie legends Franz Ferdinand, plus appearances by Mandarin pop icon Yoga Lin, Canadian post-rock visionaries Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and viral alt-pop favourites TV Girl. Rising guitar phenom Marcin, Singaporean glitch-pop queen yeule, US singer-songwriter Jeremy Zucker, and Estonia’s folk-fusion duo Puuluup will also take the stage, alongside genre-blurring DJ sets from Special Request, RSD, and Japanese duo Rikon.

Across all three days, Clockenflap promises a full-fledged festival experience with multiple stages, immersive art installations, family-friendly zones, and a massive selection of food and drink options.
