Singapore's choral community is set to come together once again as the Voices of Singapore (VOS) Festival returns for its 11th edition, taking place 5–9 September across four venues in the city. The annual event remains Singapore's largest non-competitive choral festival, bringing together singers of all ages for five days of performances, workshops, masterclasses, and community-led musical experiences.
This year's edition will span CHIJMES Hall, Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza, VOS Capitol Studios, and, for the first time, the VOS Choral Hub at Enabling Village. The new venue expands the festival's inclusive programming, reflecting the organisation's ongoing efforts to make choral music more accessible to communities across Singapore.
Across the five-day festival, audiences can expect close to 50 programmes, including gala concerts, school choir performances, recitals, outdoor showcases, choir exchanges, workshops, and masterclasses. Rather than focusing on competition, the festival continues to champion collaboration and learning, creating opportunities for choirs to perform, connect, and grow together.

Leading this year's artistic programme are internationally acclaimed guest conductors Dr. Jeffery Redding (USA), Mak Chi Hoe (Malaysia), and Lieu Ryland-Jones (Estonia). They will conduct four specially formed Festival Choruses — Children's, Youth, Community, and Virtuosi — while also leading more than 10 masterclasses for Singapore school choirs and five public workshops for music educators and conductors.
Festival highlights also include four gala performances at CHIJMES Hall featuring VOS Choirs, the Filipino Voice Symphony, and the Festival Choruses, alongside six concerts showcasing school choirs from across Singapore. Audiences can also catch free outdoor performances at Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza, with programmes including the VOSF Open Mic, A Cappella Arena, The Voice Company, and the debut of Silver Sing, which spotlights members of VOS Silver Voices performing as soloists and in small ensembles.
Beyond performances, VOS Festival continues to place community and inclusion at its core. Silver Exchanges will bring together seniors from VOS Community Silver Voices programmes across Singapore, while Starlight Exchanges will unite SPED school choirs, mainstream schools, and VOS Starlight Voices in shared musical experiences celebrating neurodiversity and accessibility through song. Choirs will also have the option to participate in ABRSM Choral Exams hosted during the festival.

Speaking about this year's edition, VOS Festival Manager Gabriel Ching shared that one of the festival's greatest strengths lies in the connections formed between choirs. He added that introducing the VOS Choral Hub at Enabling Village opens the festival to even more singers and audiences through a space designed with inclusivity in mind.
