The debut edition of Voices of the World (VOTW) International Choir Festival, taking place from 16 to 20 July, is set to turn Singapore into a vibrant stage that shines a light on some of the world's most talented children and youth choral ensembles. Taking place across iconic venues in Singapore such as CHIJMES Hall, Capitol Theatre, VOS Capitol Studios, Geneo at Singapore Science Park and VOS Choral Hub @ Enabling Village.

The five day festival welcomes Children’s and youth choirs from seven countries as they come together to celebrate cultural heritage and choral excellence. Canada's Toronto Children’s Chorus are set to join the stacked lineup as they are best known for their top-notch vocal training and outstanding artistic brilliance. Before taking a trip to the land down under as Gondwana from Australia grace the stage with their world-class artistry and mission that champions the showcasing of young talent.
Also joining the lineup are the talented New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir, bringing culturally rich showcases that incorporate works by New Zealand composers alongside Māori and Polynesian waiata. Representing Asia is The Hong Kong Children’s Choir, renowned for its prestigious choral training, international tours, and performances at historically significant events.
The award-winning Soul Sounds Academy Children’s Choir from Sri Lanka is also set to take the stage, showcasing their genre-spanning vocal versatility. Rounding out the lineup are the inclusive Thailand Children’s Choir and Kuala Lumpur Children’s Choir, both of which have gained recognition through numerous international performances and showcases.
The festival will feature four standout programmes, including the Gala Concert, which brings together the full lineup of performers participating in the VOTW International Choir Festival. Audiences can also look forward to featured concerts spotlighting selected choirs, allowing each ensemble to showcase its unique strengths, vocal achievements, and cultural identity.
Beyond the performances, educational programmes such as workshops, open rehearsals, educators’ panels, and roundtable discussions will offer attendees a rare behind-the-scenes look into the artistry and preparation behind world-class choral performances. Rounding out the festival is a collaborative music video project, where all invited choirs will come together for a special rendition of We Are the World, celebrating their shared musical journey in Singapore.
