Warner Music Korea's sublabel MPLIFY's new artist Brody has debuted with his new single, 'Why (Feat. JENNA SUHL)'.
With this release the prolific producer has now added "singer" to his impressive resume. 'Why' is a powerful R&B rock track with a groovy yet emotional bass sound. Via this release, Brody shows off his multifaceted abilities as a contributor to writing and composition, as well as drum, bass, and synthesizer sessions.
The lyrics express the chilly aftermath of a breakup. Brody states that he wanted to express a unique post-breakup message with a more indifferent "Why should I miss you?”
In particular, this single is heightened by the featured voice of singer JENNA SUHL. Brody revealed that he had JENNA SUHL in mind from the sketch stage of 'Why,' as her soulful voice maximizes the song's dreamy charm, creating a perfect synergy.
Brody has been active in the past as a producer under the name of Yuwol. Through this new beginning, he hopes to expand his artistic scope. Brody also contributed to the recent production of pH-1's 'Movie' and 'Trustfall.'
