WATCH: Decipher tease personal and emotional new EP, Strange Comfort

Melodic hardcore band Decipher are doubling down on the raw emotional quality of their new second EP, as evidenced by their first studio diary video.

Judging by the running commentary of guitarist Wira Satria and even the use of Midst's hushed bedroom pop track 'Wake Up, O Sleeper', you can expect something equally heartfelt and heavy when the band releases their next EP, Strange Comfort, in early 2017.

On the band's songwriting process, Satria emphasizes on how the tracks that will make up Strange Comfort are as genuine and organic as it gets from the emerging quintet. “I’m happy with this EP because everything we write has sort of a personal meaning to it," he explains, "and it’s honestly a really, really emotional EP.”

Strange Comfort does not have a fixed release date, but you can stream their hard-hitting first EP, Knowing Nothing But The Hope Within Myself, below.
